1991年毕业于上海水产大学食品科学技术系，1991~1996年福建省水产研究所工作，2001年日本长崎大学海洋生产科学博士，2002～2004厦门大学生命科学学院博士后，2004至今厦门大学生命科学学院任教，副教授。
